The area known as North Phoenix, part of the Phoenix metropolitan area in central Arizona, is typically bordered start at the south on Northern Avenue and stretches up to New River Road, and from 51st Street on the West to Scottsdale Road on the east. The city planning communities included are Deer Valley, Desert View, North Gateway, North Mountain and Paradise Valley.
